We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Advanced Practitioner in Help & Protection to join our dynamic social work team in Coventry. This pivotal role involves working closely with children and families to ensure their safety and well-being while promoting positive outcomes. As an Advanced Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting social workers and leading case management efforts, ensuring best practices are followed in compliance with statutory guidelines.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing effective intervention plans.
  • Providing expert guidance and supervision to social work staff, fostering professional development.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to safeguard children and families.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of casework activities and outcomes.
  • Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence as required.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • A minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in child protection and safeguarding.
  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
