We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Court Adviser (A16) to join our team in the Qualified Social Work field. This role is pivotal in providing support and guidance for families involved in court proceedings, ensuring that the best interests of children are prioritized. As a Family Court Adviser, you will work closely with families, legal professionals, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and resolution of family disputes.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments of family situations to determine the needs and best interests of children.
- Preparing detailed reports for court, including recommendations for child welfare and safety.
- Providing expert advice and support to families throughout the court process.
- Collaborating with social services, legal representatives, and other professionals to develop comprehensive care plans.
- Facilitating mediation sessions and family meetings to promote conflict resolution.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with a relevant professional body (e.g., Social Work England).
- Proven experience in child protection and family law.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse families.
- Excellent report writing and analytical skills.
