Join our dedicated Permanence Team in Liverpool as an Advanced Practitioner in Qualified Social Work. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing effective care plans in line with statutory requirements.
  • Providing expert supervision and support to social workers and students within the team.
  • Leading on complex case management and decision-making processes.
  • Engaging with families, children, and external agencies to facilitate successful outcomes.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Current Social Work England registration.
  • Significant experience in child protection and permanence planning.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and motivate team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships.
