Fostering Duty Social Worker | Gateshead

- Conducting assessments and evaluations of foster placements.
- Providing support and supervision to foster carers to ensure the best outcomes for children.
- Developing and reviewing care plans in line with legislation and best practices.
- Conducting home visits and maintaining accurate records of casework.
- Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to the development of safeguarding strategies.
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Experience working in fostering or child protection settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload effectively.
