Staffordshire's Duty & Assessment Team is seeking a qualified Children's Social Worker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children and families, ensuring their safety and well-being while providing support and guidance to those in need.
As a Children's Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of children and families. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring timely interventions and support. Working closely with schools, health services, and other agencies to coordinate care and support. Documenting case notes and maintaining accurate records in compliance with statutory requirements.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in children's social work, particularly in duty and assessment settings. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
