As a Social Worker specializing in learning disabilities, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs and strengths of individuals with learning disabilities. Developing and implementing personalized care plans in collaboration with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Providing ongoing support and guidance to clients and their families, helping them navigate available services and resources. Advocating for clients' rights and ensuring they have access to appropriate services and opportunities. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with organizational and legal standards.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, CSS, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Demonstrated experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and their families. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
