We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Community Team in Slough, focusing on supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities. This is a part-time position that offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of vulnerable individuals in the community.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Conduct assessments and develop care plans for individuals with Learning Disabilities, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
  • Provide ongoing support and advocacy to clients, working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to promote their well-being.
  • Monitor and review the progress of individuals under your care, making adjustments to interventions as necessary to achieve positive outcomes.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with relevant experience in working with individuals with Learning Disabilities.
  • Registration with Social Work England and a valid DBS check.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to social work practice in the field of Learning Disabilities.
