Social Worker - Fostering Team - Wiltshire

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and promoting the welfare of children in foster care, ensuring their needs are met while working closely with foster carers and families.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments of prospective foster carers and providing ongoing support and supervision.
- Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with children, families, and other professionals.
- Monitoring the progress of children in foster care and ensuring their emotional and physical well-being.
- Facilitating training and support groups for foster carers.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and reports.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A relevant Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Current Social Work England registration.
- Experience working within a fostering or child protection environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
