We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Children's Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team in Sheffield. In this rewarding role, you will work with children aged 0-18 years who have a variety of developmental, physical, and sensory challenges. Your expertise will help improve their daily living skills, enhance their participation in school and community activities, and promote their overall well-being.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify children's strengths and needs.
  • Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans in collaboration with children, families, and other professionals.
  • Providing direct therapy sessions to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care abilities.
  • Monitoring progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Educating families and caregivers on strategies to support their child's development at home and in the community.

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Experience working with children in a clinical or educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
