Qualified Social Worker (QSW)
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our team in Lewisham, focusing on Adults with Learning Disabilities. This role offers an attractive rate of £32 per hour (Umbrella) and provides an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. As a QSW, you will be responsible for assessing needs, developing care plans, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality support services.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of adults with learning disabilities to identify their needs and preferences.
- Developing and implementing person-centered care plans in collaboration with clients and their families.
- Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated service delivery.
- Monitoring and reviewing care plans to ensure ongoing effectiveness and compliance with statutory requirements.
- Providing guidance and support to clients, families, and caregivers, promoting independence and well-being.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Experience working with adults with learning disabilities or similar client groups.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively.
