We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our team in Rotherham, specializing in Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS). This role offers a competitive rate of £39.45 per hour and presents a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of vulnerable individuals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing and managing cases related to DoLS, ensuring compliance with legal frameworks while advocating for the rights and wellbeing of those in care.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

• Conducting assessments to determine the necessity of DoLS applications.
• Preparing and presenting reports to the appropriate authorities.
• Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to develop care plans that prioritize the best interests of individuals.
• Providing guidance and support to families and caregivers regarding DoLS processes.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practice guidelines.

The successful candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

• A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
• Registered with Social Work England.
• Proven experience in working with DoLS and mental capacity legislation.
• Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
