We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Non Case-Holding Court/CP (Safeguarding) Approved Practitioner to join our team in North Tyneside. As a Non Case-Holding Court/CP (Safeguarding) AP, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert advice and support on safeguarding matters to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and best practices.
  • Conducting assessments and preparing reports for court proceedings, ensuring all documentation is accurate and timely.
  • Collaborating with multi-agency teams to develop and implement safeguarding plans that prioritize the well-being of individuals.
  • Attending court hearings and presenting evidence as required, demonstrating a thorough understanding of safeguarding protocols.
  • Offering training and support to colleagues and stakeholders on safeguarding issues and court processes.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent).
  • Current Social Work England registration.
  • Proven experience in safeguarding, court work, and multi-agency collaboration.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to prepare comprehensive reports and documentation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
