The London Borough of Waltham Forest is seeking a dedicated and experienced qualified social worker to join our Adult's Social Work - Mental Health Team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing ongoing support and guidance to service users, facilitating access to appropriate services and resources.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and organizational policies.
  • Participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of service delivery.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work or equivalent).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience in adult social work, particularly within mental health settings.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to develop effective interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to working collaboratively with diverse populations.
