Children's Social Worker - Child Protection Team

Caritas Recruitment is supporting North Somerset Council with the recruitment of 5 experienced Children's Social Workers to join their Child Protection Services.
This is an excellent opportunity for qualified and experienced safeguarding practitioners looking to make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable children and families within a supportive local authority setting.

Key Details

  • Location: Weston-super-Mare, North Somerset
  • Pay Rate: £40 per hour
  • Hours: 37 hours per week
  • Office Requirement: Minimum 2 days per week in the office
  • Visits: All statutory visits must be completed face-to-face

About You

To be considered, you will need:
  • Social Work England registration
  • Experience within Children's Social Care
  • Strong safeguarding and child protection experience
  • Ability to manage a complex caseload and complete statutory work to a high standard
  • Excellent assessment, report writing, and court work skills
  • Commitment to delivering positive outcomes for children and families
