Are you an experienced social worker with a passion for safeguarding children? Lincolnshire County Council is seeking a dedicated Practice Supervisor for our Children’s Safeguarding Team. In this pivotal role, you will lead and inspire a team of qualified social workers, ensuring that we deliver high-quality services that prioritize the safety and wellbeing of children and families in our community.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Supervising and supporting a team of social workers, fostering a culture of professional development and continuous improvement. Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and best practice guidelines in safeguarding children. Conducting regular case reviews and providing constructive feedback to enhance practice standards. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to deliver integrated services and support for children and families. Contributing to the strategic development of safeguarding policies and procedures within the team.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, CSS, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Significant experience in children’s social work, including direct experience in safeguarding. Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with a commitment to supporting professional development.
