Are you an experienced social worker looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a dedicated Advance Practitioner to join our Fostering Kinship Assessment Team in Liverpool. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of vulnerable children and families, ensuring they receive the support and guidance they need. As an Advance Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in assessing and supporting kinship placements, working closely with families, children, and local authorities.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of kinship care arrangements, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practice standards. Providing expert guidance and support to social work staff, fostering a culture of learning and development within the team. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to develop and implement effective care plans for children. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders. Participating in training and development initiatives to enhance team performance and service delivery.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Significant post-qualifying experience in children's social work, particularly in fostering or kinship care. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
