Caritas Recruitment is supporting Lambeth Council in the appointment of an experienced Team Manager to lead within the 0-25 Integrated Disabilities Service.

This is an excellent opportunity for an established Children's Services manager with experience of safeguarding, performance management and service delivery to lead a team supporting children and young people with disabilities and complex needs. You will oversee case management, quality assurance, supervision, service performance and multi-agency partnership working, ensuring children receive high-quality, outcome-focused support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of Social Workers and Personal Advisors.
  • Oversee safeguarding, care planning and case management for children and young people with disabilities.
  • Provide reflective supervision, support professional development and manage performance.
  • Monitor service delivery, quality assurance, KPIs and statutory compliance.
  • Chair meetings, reviews and contribute to strategic service development.
  • Work closely with health, education, housing and adult social care partners.
  • Manage resources effectively to deliver positive outcomes for children and families.

Requirements

  • Social Work England registration.
  • Significant post-qualifying experience within Children's Social Care.
  • Previous management or supervisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation, statutory guidance and performance management.
  • Experience working collaboratively across multi-agency partnerships.
  • Experience within Children with Disabilities services is highly desirable.
