We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Family Support & Protection Team in Tower Hamlets. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and protection services to vulnerable children and families in the local community.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children and families in need of support
  • Undertaking direct work with children and families to address safeguarding concerns
  • Providing expert advice and guidance to colleagues and partner agencies
  • Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and multi-agency meetings
  • Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with relevant legislation and best practice guidelines

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with HCPC registration
  • Demonstrable experience working within a similar role, preferably within a Family Support & Protection Team
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a complex caseload
