We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join the NRPF Team in Barking & Dagenham. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in supporting vulnerable individuals and families facing No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF) challenges. The position offers a competitive rate of £37.52 per hour on an umbrella basis, allowing you to make a significant impact in the community.
As a Qualified Social Worker in the NRPF Team, your key responsibilities will include:
Assessing the needs of individuals and families with NRPF, ensuring their welfare and safety. Developing and implementing tailored support plans to address the unique challenges faced by clients. Collaborating with various agencies and stakeholders to provide comprehensive support and resources. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in accordance with local policies and procedures. Participating in team meetings and contributing to the development of best practices within the team.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England (SWE). Proven experience in social work, particularly in handling cases related to NRPF or similar fields. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
