We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Adults' Substance Misuse and Alcohol Dependency (A & D) Team in Liverpool. In this vital role, you will work collaboratively with individuals facing challenges related to substance misuse and alcohol dependency, providing them with the support they need to lead healthier, more fulfilling lives. Your expertise will be crucial in assessing needs, planning interventions, and ensuring clients receive the appropriate services.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients’ needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored care plans in collaboration with clients and multi-disciplinary teams. Providing ongoing support, guidance, and advocacy to clients and their families. Monitoring and reviewing client progress, adjusting care plans as necessary. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with relevant legislation and policies.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA Social Work, MA Social Work). Current registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in adult social work, specifically in substance misuse and alcohol dependency. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to develop effective intervention strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an empathetic approach to client care.
