Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs and strengths of young adults.
  • Developing and implementing personalized support plans that empower young adults to achieve their goals.
  • Building strong relationships with young adults, families, and other professionals to facilitate effective service delivery.
  • Providing guidance and support in areas such as housing, education, employment, and mental health.
  • Monitoring and reviewing progress, ensuring that interventions are effective and responsive to changing needs.

To be successful in this position, you will need the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Current Social Work England registration.
  • Experience working with young adults and an understanding of the challenges they face.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
