Caritas Recruitment is currently recruiting for 2 experienced Social Workers to join Wiltshire Council's Support & Safeguarding Team South.

Based in Salisbury, this busy and supportive safeguarding team works with children and families from assessment through to permanence. Working within Wiltshire's "One Journey" model, you'll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with children and families throughout their journey, ensuring the right support is in place at every stage.

The Role

  • Manage a caseload of children from assessment through to permanence.
  • Complete assessments and lead Child in Need and Child Protection plans.
  • Work with families to reduce risk and improve outcomes for children.
  • Support legal planning and court work where required.
  • Work alongside Family Keyworkers as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Receive regular reflective supervision and support from experienced managers.

Requirements

  • Social Work England registration
  • Experience within Children's Safeguarding services
  • Strong assessment, Child in Need and Child Protection experience
  • Ability to manage complex caseloads and work effectively with families and partner agencies
