Social worker - Assessment & CP - Swindon
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our dynamic Assessment and Child Protection team in Swindon. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and well-being of children and families within our community. As a Social Worker, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing care plans, and collaborating with various stakeholders to provide the best possible outcomes for those in need.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
- Developing and implementing effective intervention plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
- Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding strategies.
- Providing ongoing support and guidance to families to promote positive changes.
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognized Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Experience in child protection and assessment within a statutory setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families and professionals.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a complex caseload effectively.
