Family Assessment Social Worker | Horncastle
Location: Horncastle, East Lindsey
Team: FAST (Family Assessment & Support Team)
Working Pattern: Hybrid (with on-site duty week every 3 weeks)
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Social Worker to join a FAST team in Horncastle. This is a key frontline role, delivering high-quality statutory social work to children and families across:
Child in NeedChild ProtectionChildren in Care
You will play a critical role in safeguarding, assessment, and planning, ensuring children receive the right support at the right time to achieve safe and positive outcomes.
Key ResponsibilitiesConduct Section 47 enquiries and lead safeguarding investigationsComplete comprehensive Child and Family AssessmentsApply evidence-based frameworks such as Signs of Safety to assess and manage riskLead and contribute to multi-agency planning and decision-makingProduce high-quality, analytical reports, including those for courtMaintain timely, accurate and defensible case recordingsBuild strong, purposeful relationships with children and families through relationship-based practiceDemonstrate sound decision-making in complex and high-risk situationsAbout You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
