Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored care plans in partnership with families and multidisciplinary teams. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with statutory requirements and best practice guidelines. Providing ongoing support and intervention to families, ensuring their voices are heard and respected. Attending court hearings and contributing to legal processes when necessary. Participating in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in children’s social work, particularly in child protection and family support. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in children's social work, particularly within a statutory setting. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in complex situations.
