Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals’ needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing tailored safeguarding plans in collaboration with service users and their families.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with legal and organizational standards.
  • Providing expert advice and support to colleagues and external partners on safeguarding issues.
  • Participating in safeguarding meetings and investigations to ensure the highest level of protection for vulnerable adults.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in adult safeguarding and knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse individuals.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload.
