£38,220 - £46,142 per annum + £3,000 Retention Payment
Permanent | 3 days per week on-site
Based at Keighley Town Hall, BD21 3PA
Caritas Recruitment is recruiting experienced Children & Families Social Workers to join the Keighley & Shipley Locality on a permanent basis.
This is a great opportunity for experienced Children's Social Workers who are passionate about making a difference and want to work restoratively and relationally with children and families.
The Role
You will work with children and families with a range of complex needs, ensuring the child remains at the heart of assessment, planning and decision-making.
Your work will include:
- Managing a varied Children & Families caseload.
- Working with children subject to Child in Need and Child Protection plans.
- Managing cases through the pre-court process.
- Undertaking work relating to care proceedings.
- Assessing risk and need and developing effective plans for children and families.
- Working collaboratively with families and partner professionals.
- Using restorative and relationship-based practice to promote sustainable change.
About You
We're looking for an experienced Social Worker who:
- Holds a recognised Social Work qualification.
- Has current Social Work England registration.
- Has strong UK Children's Social Work experience.
- Has experience across Child in Need, Child Protection, pre-court and care proceedings.
- Is confident managing complex needs and risk.
- Can build positive, purposeful relationships with children and families.
- Is comfortable working within a busy statutory Children & Families service.
Salary & Working Arrangements
- £38,220 - £46,142 per annum
- £3,000 retention payment
- Keighley Town Hall, BD21 3PA
- 3 days per week on-site
