Conducting assessments and investigations to determine the needs and risks of service users. Developing and implementing care plans to support and safeguard children and adults in need. Providing direct support and intervention to service users in crisis situations. Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and external agencies to ensure comprehensive care and support. Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and reviews to advocate for the best interests of service users.

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration. Demonstrated experience in working within a statutory social work setting, preferably within an EDT Team. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to social work practice. Excellent communication, assessment, and decision-making skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex caseloads.
