Job description
We require a qualified, experienced Principal Social Worker to join our Family Plus Team in Truro whilst we recruit to the role.

The successful candidate should have experience of working in a Adoption and Permanence Team and can demonstrate they have the specialist knowledge of attachment and PACE and post order support needs and can model this with families. It is essential to have the child care award or equivalent post qualifying award at M level. Experience of adoption and SGO post order support, therapeutic approach towards working with families and works well under pressure and have excellent recording skills. Desirable ? A Therapeutic qualification ? eg DDP, Theraplay, play therapy, therapeutic life story work, music/drama/art therapy, therapeutic social work qualification or equivalent, experience of using Mosaic and working in a multi-disciplinary team.
