We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Lancashire Adoption Recruitment & Assessment Team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the adoption process by assessing prospective adopters, recruiting suitable families, and supporting them throughout their adoption journey.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Conduct thorough assessments of prospective adopters to determine their suitability for adoption. Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract a diverse range of potential adoptive families. Provide support and guidance to both adopters and children throughout the adoption process. Work collaboratively with other professionals, such as social workers and adoption agencies, to ensure the best outcomes for children in need of adoption. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all adoption assessments and placements.Essential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration. Experience working in the field of adoption and a strong understanding of the adoption process.
