We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our CP/Court team in Shropshire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a complex caseload of child protection and court cases, ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable children and families in the area.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

Conducting assessments and investigations to determine the needs and risks faced by children and families Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with other professionals and agencies Attending court hearings and providing evidence to support legal proceedings Participating in multi-agency meetings and reviews to safeguard children and promote positive outcomes Providing support and guidance to families to address issues and improve their circumstances

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with a relevant social work qualification and HCPC registration Demonstrated experience working within child protection and court teams Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures in social work practice Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, families, and professionals Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities
