We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Lancashire Safeguarding Adult's Service on a part-time basis. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in protecting and promoting the welfare of vulnerable adults in our community.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Conduct assessments and investigations to determine the needs and risks faced by vulnerable adults. Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with service users, their families, and other professionals. Provide support and advocacy to empower individuals to make informed decisions about their lives. Work closely with partner agencies to coordinate services and ensure effective safeguarding measures are in place. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with legal and professional standards.

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with a valid registration with Social Work England. Demonstrated experience in safeguarding vulnerable adults and conducting assessments. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with service users and stakeholders. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to adult safeguarding.
