We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Worker to join our Children with Disabilities Team in Wiltshire. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children and families with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Undertake assessments of children and families to identify their needs and develop appropriate support plans. Work collaboratively with partner agencies to coordinate and deliver services that meet the needs of children with disabilities. Provide direct support and interventions to children and families, including safeguarding vulnerable children. Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and case conferences to review and plan the ongoing support for children and families. Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and reports in line with statutory requirements.Essential Qualifications and Skills:
Qualified Social Worker with a relevant social work qualification and registration with Social Work England. Demonstrated experience working with children and families, particularly those with disabilities and complex needs. Strong assessment and analytical skills to identify risks and develop appropriate support plans. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, families, and partner agencies. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced and demanding environment.Additional Requirements:
Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for work-related travel. Willingness to undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
