Join our dedicated team in Herefordshire as a Fostering Recruitment & Assessment Social Worker, where you will play a crucial role in shaping the lives of vulnerable children and families. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, focusing on the recruitment, assessment, and support of foster carers. You will be instrumental in ensuring that our fostering services meet the highest standards of care and support.

Key responsibilities include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of potential foster carers, including home visits and interviews. Developing and delivering training and support programs for foster carers. Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for children in care. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in line with regulatory requirements. Providing ongoing support and supervision to foster families.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience in fostering, adoption, or related fields. Strong assessment and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker to join our team in Herefordshire in the role of Fostering Kinship. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to kinship carers to ensure the safety and well-being of children in their care.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Assessing and supporting kinship carers through the fostering process Conducting home visits and assessments to ensure the suitability of kinship placements Developing and implementing care plans to meet the individual needs of children in kinship care Collaborating with other professionals and agencies to provide holistic support to kinship families Participating in case conferences and court hearings as required

Essential qualifications and skills:
