We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Assessment and Staying Together Team in Staffordshire. As a key member of this team, you will play a crucial role in supporting families and individuals in need, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Conducting assessments to determine the needs of children and families, and developing appropriate care plans. Providing ongoing support and intervention to families to promote positive outcomes and prevent family breakdown. Working collaboratively with other professionals, agencies, and stakeholders to coordinate services and support for clients. Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and other meetings as required. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all interventions and interactions with clients.Essential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration. Previous experience in a similar role within a social care setting. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make evidence-based decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a complex caseload.Additional requirements and benefits:
