We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Social Worker to join our Locality Safeguarding Team in Worcestershire. In this vital role, you will work collaboratively with families and individuals to promote their well-being and ensure their safety. You will be responsible for assessing needs, developing care plans, and implementing safeguarding procedures to protect vulnerable individuals from harm. Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments and reviews of service users’ needs. Developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans in partnership with service users and their families. Ensuring compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to coordinate support services. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with legal and organizational standards.To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in safeguarding and working with vulnerable populations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with service users.
