Are you a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families? We are seeking a qualified Social Worker to join our Children Support and Safeguarding team in Northampton. In this vital role, you will work collaboratively with children, families, and various stakeholders to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable children in our community.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments and developing care plans tailored to the needs of children and families. Providing support and guidance to children and their families, promoting resilience and positive outcomes. Working closely with schools, healthcare providers, and other agencies to coordinate services and interventions. Participating in child protection conferences and court proceedings when necessary. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with statutory requirements.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work degree and current registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families, preferably in a safeguarding context. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload effectively.
