We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our team in Shropshire as part of the Compass Initial Contact Team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in providing support and intervention to vulnerable individuals and families in need.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Conducting assessments and investigations to determine the needs and risks of service users Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with service users and their support networks Providing crisis intervention and support to individuals in difficult situations Liaising with partner agencies and professionals to ensure coordinated and effective service delivery Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and reports

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with relevant professional registration Demonstrated experience in working with vulnerable individuals and families Strong assessment and analytical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and challenging environment
