About the Role:
Essex County Council is seeking compassionate and dedicated Residential Support Workers to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to residents, ensuring their safety, well-being, and personal development within our residential facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration.Support residents in achieving their personal goals and promoting independence.Maintain accurate records and reports in accordance with council policies.Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external agencies to deliver comprehensive care plans.Ensure a safe and supportive environment that respects the dignity and rights of all residents.Requirements:
Previous experience in a care or support role is desirable but not essential.A compassionate nature and strong communication skills.Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care) are advantageous.Successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
