We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Out of Hours Social Worker to join our team in Stockport. As an essential member of our Qualified Social Work field, you will play a crucial role in providing support and intervention during non-traditional working hours.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Respond to urgent and crisis situations outside regular office hours Conduct assessments and provide appropriate interventions for vulnerable individuals and families Collaborate with emergency services, healthcare professionals, and other agencies to ensure the safety and well-being of clients Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and interventions Participate in on-call duties as required

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with relevant professional registration Demonstrated experience in working with children, families, and vulnerable adults Strong assessment and decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work effectively under pressure and in challenging situations
