We are seeking a dedicated and experienced LAC Senior Social Worker to join our team in Leeds City. As a key member of our Qualified Social Work department, you will play a crucial role in supporting Looked After Children (LAC) and ensuring their well-being and safety.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Provide high-quality social work services to Looked After Children and their families Conduct assessments, create care plans, and monitor the progress of children in care Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver holistic support Advocate for the best interests of children and ensure they are safeguarded Participate in case conferences, court proceedings, and reviews as required

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with a relevant degree and HCPC registration Demonstrated experience in working with Looked After Children and knowledge of relevant legislation Strong assessment, communication, and decision-making skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex cases Commitment to continuous professional development and upholding ethical standards
