Cheshire West is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our Family Help Team. This role is vital in providing support and intervention for families in need, ensuring the safety and well-being of children and young people. As a Social Worker within our dynamic team, you will work collaboratively with families, community partners, and other agencies to implement effective support plans and promote positive outcomes.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments of families to identify needs and strengths. Developing and implementing intervention plans tailored to individual family situations. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with legal and organizational standards. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to share insights and develop holistic approaches to family care.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience in child protection and family support work. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse families.
