About the Role
Cafcass is seeking two experienced Family Court Adviser (FCA) Social Workers to join their teams across Essex and Norfolk/Suffolk. You'll play a vital role in safeguarding children involved in family court proceedings, ensuring their voice is heard and their best interests are represented.
Key ResponsibilitiesRepresent children in family court proceedingsUndertake assessments and provide clear, evidence-based recommendationsWork closely with families, carers, and multi-agency partnersPrepare high-quality reports for courtManage a varied caseload effectively and professionallyEssential CriteriaQualified Social Worker with Social Work England (SWE) registrationEnhanced DBS completed within the last 12 months via an agencyRight to Work in the UK (no sponsorship available)Ability to start within 4 weeks' noticeStrong court experience and report writing skillsDesirable ExperienceMinimum 3 years post-qualified experiencePrevious experience within Cafcass or similar court-based rolesAdditional InformationTwo separate roles available (Essex and Norfolk/Suffolk)Why Choose Caritas Recruitment?
