We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our Child Protection/Child In Need (CP/CIN) Team in Suffolk. As a Senior Qualified Social Worker, you will be responsible for a range of duties that are crucial to the welfare of children and families in need of support. Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and families. Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing guidance and supervision to junior staff and social work students. Managing a caseload of complex cases, ensuring timely interventions and outcomes. Participating in multi-agency meetings and court proceedings as required.To be considered for this role, you must hold a relevant social work qualification (e.g., Social Work Degree, DipSW, or equivalent) and be registered with Social Work England. Additionally, you should possess:
A minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in child protection or children in need. Strong assessment, analytical, and report-writing skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with families and professionals.
