As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children and families, with a focus on safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children in care.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children in care Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and reviews Supporting children in care to achieve their full potential and transition into adulthood Providing emotional support and guidance to children and families

The ideal candidate for this role will possess:

A recognized qualification in social work and registration with Social Work England Proven experience working with Looked After Children and a sound understanding of relevant legislation and policies Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, families, and colleagues Ability to work autonomously, manage a complex caseload, and prioritize tasks efficiently
