Torbay Council is seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Adult's Social Work Project Team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the well-being of our community by providing high-quality support and intervention to adults in need. You will work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals, ensuring that vulnerable adults receive the care and support they deserve.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals’ needs and developing tailored support plans. Providing direct support and intervention to adults facing complex challenges, including mental health issues, disabilities, and safeguarding concerns. Working closely with families, carers, and other stakeholders to promote positive outcomes. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with legal and organizational standards. Participating in team meetings and contributing to service development initiatives.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with the Social Work England. Experience in adult social work, particularly in assessments and safeguarding. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with service users and colleagues.
