Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs and strengths. Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to support clients in achieving their goals. Providing therapeutic interventions, including skill-building activities and adaptive strategies. Monitoring and evaluating clients' progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary. Educating clients and their families on coping strategies and resources available to them. Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care and support.Essential qualifications and skills for this role include:
A relevant degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Previous experience working with adults in a healthcare or community setting. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload effectively.
