We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Mental Health Social Worker for a 6-month contract position in the picturesque areas of Havant and Totton, Hampshire. Key responsibilities and duties for this position include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health and social circumstances. Developing and implementing tailored care plans in collaboration with clients and multidisciplinary teams. Providing ongoing support and intervention to clients, ensuring their safety and well-being. Working closely with families, carers, and community resources to promote recovery and resilience. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with regulatory standards.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Current registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in mental health social work, particularly within adult services. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations.
