As a Qualified Social Worker in the Support and Protect Team, your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, ensuring their voices are heard and respected. Working closely with partner agencies to coordinate services and interventions. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence as required.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, CSS, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building positive relationships. A commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to learn.
