Join our dedicated team as a Children's Safeguarding Social Worker in Tameside, where you will play a vital role in protecting and improving the lives of vulnerable children and their families. You will be responsible for assessing the needs of children, developing and implementing safeguarding plans, and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the safety and well-being of those in our care.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families in need of support. Developing and implementing tailored safeguarding plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Maintaining accurate and detailed case records and documentation. Providing support and guidance to families to promote positive outcomes. Participating in team meetings, case conferences, and court proceedings as required.

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA in Social Work, MA in Social Work). Current Social Work England registration. Experience in children’s safeguarding and child protection work. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children and families. Ability to manage a caseload and work under pressure.
