Join our dedicated Children's Social Work team in Wiltshire, specializing in Looked After Children (LAC) and Children in Care (CIC). We are seeking a passionate and qualified social worker who is committed to making a positive impact in the lives of vulnerable children and their families. In this role, you will work collaboratively with children, families, and various stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes for children in our care.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children in care. Building strong relationships with children, families, and other professionals. Providing support and intervention to children and their families, ensuring their voices are heard. Monitoring and reviewing the progress of children in care, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding practices.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families, particularly in a LAC/CIC context. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound judgments.
